Wallisdown Road closed after pedestrian injured in collision with car
WALLISDOWN Road, between Boundary Roundabout and University Roundabout, has re-opened after a crash.
A 19-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a collision with a car at 4.20 pm. His condition is not life-threatening.
The collision, involving a blue Vauxhall Astra taxi registered to a Bournemouth company, happened between the Boundary Road and Bournemouth University roundabouts.
Road closures were put in place and buses diverted away from the scene.

The vehicle in question was a Private Hire Vehicle and NOT a taxi.
There is a big difference. Please try and get it right in future!
