Angelo Rodrigues
THE jury in the Angelo Rodrigues murder trial heard closing speeches from the prosecution and defence counsel yesterday.
The barristers recapped their cases to the panel of seven women and five men at Winchester Crown Court following six days of evidence.
Tracy Mansell, 56, of Coleman Road, West Howe, is accused with boyfriend James Kinsley, 40, of Hinton Road, Bournemouth, of murdering Mr Rodrigues, pictured left, on July 27 last year. They both deny the charge.
Mansell has admitted stabbing her 44-year-old neighbour 20 times with a scissor blade at his flat, but claims diminished responsibility due to her mental state.
The jury will return on Monday to hear Judge The Honourable Mr Justice Males sum up before retiring to consider a verdict.
