Man arrested over acid attack

A 50-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with an acid attack in central Bournemouth.

Detectives launched an investigation after man had ‘corrosive liquid’ thrown in his face during an incident in Branksome Hill Road in Meyrick Park on December 27.

The victim, a 46-year-old from Bournemouth, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Following the incident police said they did not believe the attack was ‘random’.

The Bournemouth man was arrested on Saturday and has been released on police bail until mid March.

This road IS NOT in central Bournemouth and IS NOT in Meyrick Park either.
Glad they've (hopefully) got the person who did it though.
