UPDATED: A351 through Corfe Castle reopens

RAIN and snow this afternoon has started to cause some flooding around Dorset's roads.

Traffic is facing problems in Corfe Castle after a day of precipitation led to the river flooding across the A351.

It left the road below the castle under water and caused problems on the Church Knowle Road as well.

The road through Corfe has now reopened.

Wilts and Dorset has suspended its bus service through the village, running it as a shuttle to and from Poole.

Police had earlier closed the road at the Norden roundabout and on the Swanage side of the village.

There have also been reports of flooding on Wallisdown Road in Bournemouth.
