TWO men have appeared in court over three robberies that have been committed in the past month.
Gary Neil Harrison, 37, of Westby Road, Boscombe, appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm in relation to a raid on Highcliffe Post Office on December 18.
Separately, Robert Grogan, 49, of no fixed abode, appeared in front of magistrates charged with the same offences in relation to robberies at the Co-Op in Cranleigh Road, Southbourne, on Saturday, January 12, and on the next day at the Mace store at Sauflands, Highcliffe.
The court was told that £2,200 was taken from Highcliffe Post Office, while £162 was taken from the Southbourne Co-Op and coins from a till were taken from the Mace store.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday, January 24, via video link.
