UPDATE: Two-vehicle crash in town centre

A two-vehicle crash partially blocked Wimborne Road in Bournemouth tonight (Wednesday January 16).
A white Peugeot van and a silver Vauxhall Astra car were involved in the accident.
An ambulance attended, but a Dorset Police spokesperson said they did not believe anyone had been seriously injured.

Even though no one was injured, the police closed the road for 4 hours and the fire brigade removed the roof from the astra because " it's what we always do when there's an accident".
It's believed that a wing mirror was damaged in this collision.

Echo People: get a streetmap of Bournemouth and take a look at Wimborne Road - it appears and disappears all over the place. Stating that an accident is in Wimborne Road without saying whach bit cannot help people who wish to avoid it.
