THREE men were injured when one large group of men attacked another outside a Bournemouth night spot.

Police say the three were assaulted following the fight on Charminster Road in the early hours of Sunday, January 13.

A 31-year-old man from Bournemouth suffered a fractured shoulder, a 23-year-old man from Bournemouth sustained a fractured right eye socket, and a 27-year-old Bournemouth man suffered minor injuries to his face. Two of the men were taken to hospital.

The incident happened outside the San Miguel bar at around 2am.

DC James Batty, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this assault to find out exactly what happened.

“Two men have been left with nasty injuries and required hospital treatment.

“We have descriptions of the two main offenders.

“The first is a man aged in his late 20s with a dark complexion, about 5ft 10ins, of average build and wearing an orange or red jumper with dark jeans.

“The second is described as a man aged in his early to mid 30s with a dark complexion, around 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build and wearing a dark navy blue body warmer, dark blue jeans and a black T-shirt.”
