I FEEL I must reply to letters in the Echo regarding Christchurch Hospital.
For some objectors our reasons were for the mass of buildings, eg a care home, residential homes for the elderly, three-storeys of flats, plus numerous houses in the grounds .
The 6,000 petition signatories are obviously not thinking of how it would affect surrounding houses etc.
We are all for keeping the hospital services,but surely not interfering with so many people’s lives.
