MOST students are back at their desks at Lytchett Minster School today despite the devastating fire which destroyed the theatre and arts block during the Christmas holiday.
Only Year 7 pupils are at home today, with Year 8 taking their turn tomorrow and Year 9 on Friday. Next week, one year group will be at home on each day, Year 8 on Monday, Year 10 on Tuesday, Year 7 on Wednesday and Friday and Year 9 on Thursday.
Demolition work has started at the creative arts block and education chiefs are doing all they can to avoid disruption of education. Exams will take place as planned.
