Vital clue in hunt for armed raider

Bournemouth Echo: CCTV image of potential witness CCTV image of potential witness

DETECTIVES believe a potential witness to a Post Office robbery could hold vital clues which could lead them to the armed raider.

The gunman who struck at Lymington Road, Highcliffe, at around 9.30 am on Tuesday, December 18 is still at large and police are renewing their appeal for information. They have also released a CCTV image, right, of a man who could help with their enquiries.

DC Kate Dennis of Bournemouth CID said: “This was an extremely distressing incident and the victims are understandably shocked. The pictured man is a possible witness. We believe he entered the shop shortly after the offender had committed this offence.”

Anyone with information should phone 101, quoting incident number 18:102.
