DORSET Police’s Acting Chief Constable today issues her Christmas message to the residents of Dorset.

In her message, which is behind the final door of the Dorset Police interactive advent calendar, Debbie Simpson has also thanked her staff and officers for their work this year.

Miss Simpson, said: “I would like to wish our communities a happy, healthy and safe Christmas.

“I hope that you have found the Dorset Police Advent Calendar useful.

“Please continue to follow our crime prevention and personal safety advice to help ensure you enjoy a crime free Christmas and New Year.”

Chief Constable Simpson added: “I would also like to thank my staff and officers who are working over the holiday period to help keep Dorset safe, along with staff from our emergency service partners.
