A MAN walking his dog was robbed in Weymouth.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following the incident, details of which have just been released.
It happened on the cycle path next to Weymouth Way opposite Pottery Lane at around 10pm last Friday.
The victim, a 49-year-old Weymouth man, was walking his dog when he was approached by an unknown offender who demanded money from him.
He sustained injuries to his arms and had his wallet stolen.
The offender is described as a white man, aged between 20 and 25, of slim to stocky build, and around 5ft 10ins tall.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark coloured jacket.
