A MAN suffered broken teeth and a bruised face after an alleged attack on a Bournemouth road.

The 20-year-old was taken to hospital after the incident, which happened on Malmesbury Park Road, Charminster, just after 1am on Sunday, December 16.

Detective Constable Richard Skinner, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I understand that the victim and another man were involved in some sort of altercation inside the Havana Wine Bar, along Charminster Road, at around 1am.

“The two men were ejected from the premises following this incident, which took place on the basement dance floor.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the Havana bar on Sunday morning, and anyone who saw the later incident along Malmesbury Park Road, to contact me as soon as possible.

“I understand that there were a number of revellers inside the bar and in the vicinity, and it may be that someone, or several people, may be able to help me with this investigation.”
