UPDATED: Two people were taken to hospital after a collision on Weymouth relief Road where a car set on fire.
The 21-year-old female driver of a Vauxhall Corsa that was the vehicle on fire was taken to hospital with 'unknown injuries' according to Dorset Police.
A 50-year-old male from Dorchester was also taken to hospital with a broken leg.
The Relief Road was closed last night in both directions after the collision.
Closures were in place from the Jurassic Roundabout to the Football Stadium Roundabout. Dorset Police, the ambulance service and Dorset Fire and Rescue Service all attended the scene.
The Vauxhall Corsa was on fire near to the Bincombe area and due to the traffic build up a second incident occurred towards the Dorchester end of the Relief Road.
