ALL SET TO SING: The Primary choir prior to their performance yesterday at the 2012 annual Bournemouth School’s Music Association Carol Festival at the Pavilion in Bournemouth.
THE Pavilion Theatre in Westover Road is providing the perfect setting for the 65th Bournemouth Schools’ Music Association Carol Festival.
A performance was held last night and another will be staged tonight , showcasing the talents of primary and secondary school pupils from across the borough.
Caroline Burn, head teacher at St Mark’s primary school, Talbot Village, and chairperson of the Bournemouth Schools’ Music Association, has been involved for the past decade.
She said: “The festival develops every year; this year we have traditional carols, some compositions and even a rap.
“It covers everything and appeals to all tastes and all ages.”
Tickets cost £7 with £4 concessions and family tickets (for two adults and two children) are available for £20.
To mark the occasion special posters, featuring those taking part, will be available at Daily Echo stands at the Pavilion from 6 o’clock tonight.
You can obtain a free poster there, along with a copy of today’s Daily Echo, for just 45 pence.
