Dorset put on flood alert
9:40am Wednesday 21st November 2012 in News By Katie Clark
A FLOOD warning has been issued for Dorset as heavy rain moves slowly across the county.
The Environment Agency has issued the warning for the whole of the south-west as the rain falls on already saturated ground.
Earlier this month the agency urged residents to sign-up to flood alerts after Dorset was put at high risk of a possible winter deluge following the record breaking wet summer.
Dorset Police have asked motorists to be vigilant and drive with care in the adverse driving conditions.
If you have any pictures of flooding in your area please send them to digital@bournemouthecho.co.uk or text them to 80360, starting your message with BE. Don't forget to include your name and where your photo was taken.
