Woman taken to hospital after Southbourne flat fire (From Bournemouth Echo)

Oh poor lady, I hope she and everybody else is ok. It is so tragic when things like this happen so close to Christmas. I have seen those Red Cross emergency people near a friends this year in Canford Heath. They are amazing, apparently they look after people affected by the fire and even help them to get accommodation and get their insurance people to the scene quickly to sort things out, and they are all volunteers. Good on you all and thank all of the firefighters, police, paramedics and others for looking after us over Christmas and every other day.

All very well if you have insurance.Lets be realistic here.Lots of people cannot afford the premiums & also this could well be rented accomodation.As for being 'So tragic close to Christmas'...surely its tragic anytime of year?Why do people think everyones Christmas is special & happy? Lots of people find Christmas a depressing time of year.More & more people are isolated & on their own & Christmas with all its Falseness is the last thing they want.

If people feel that sorry how about a whip round for this unfortunate lady? Wonder how many people that will scare off?

Maybe you should turn to God, do you go to church? The doors are open every day, not just at Christmas when people are feeling lonely, depressed and in despair because they are being constantly confronted by 'falseness' directly connected to the festivities that so many of us enjoy. You know all that lovely beer, wine, big fat juicy mince pies amd lots and lots of expensive presents brought by so many friends and family.
