DORSET has fallen silent to remember the war dead at services throughout the county.
A two minute silence has been observed and wreaths have been laid at war memorials as residents came together to pay their respects.
Crowds were out in brilliant autumn sunshine in Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and Bridport.
