FIRE crews helped rescue a man who had fallen down a 25ft ravine near Christchurch.
Dorset Fire and Rescue were called to help their colleagues from Hampshire in aiding the 20-year-old man at around 5pm on Saturday, November 10.
He had fallen down the eight metre ravine in the Matchams View area of Hurn.
A special rescue team set up rope equipment to retrieve the man using a stretcher. He was handed to the ambulance service and taken to hospital.
The fire and rescue crew left the scene at 7.09pm.
