SIX-YEAR-OLD Daisy Rainbow and her little brother Oscar have been invited to the silver anniversary of the Dyspraxia Foundation this weekend.

The Muscliffe siblings were asked to the formal conference at the Connaught Hotel after Daisy raised more than £1,000 for the Foundation by giving up sweets, cakes, ice-cream, chocolates and biscuits for a month.

The young fundraiser completed the tough task just four months after Oscar, four, was diagnosed with severe oral and verbal dyspraxia, which severely limits his ability to speak coherently.

The Rainbow family have been invited to this weekend’s conference as a thank-you for raising the money for the foundation.

Mrs Lee said: “Our special thanks goes to Daisy and her family for her support.”
