MEMBERS of the Youth Cancer Trust fundraising team joined in the Halloween fun at Haksins Garden Centre to raise £800 for the charity.
More than 400 children paid £1 each to enjoy games and activities including face painting, spooky storytelling and a haunted trail at the centre in Ferndown.
Six-year-old Ethan, from Three Legged Cross, was the winner of the children’s fancy dress competition with four-year-olds Chloe from Bournemouth and Ella from Ferndown as runners-up.
Derek Smith, events and fundraising manager at Youth Cancer Trust, said: “We are very grateful to the Haskins team and their customers for their support and generosity.”
