POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a 17-year-old girl who has gone missing from the Charminster area of Bournemouth.

Rebecca Brady was last seen by her dad at about 10pm on Tuesday November 6 when she left their home.

A Dorset Police spokesman said Rebecca had "only moved to the area in the last five weeks and has no social network".

The spokesman added: "Due to an illness from which she suffers police are concerned for her welfare."

Rebecca is described as slim, about 5ft 1ins tall, with shoulder length straight dark brown hair and blue eyes.

She is believed to be wearing a blue quilted jacket gathered at the waist, ripped blue jeans, flat shoes and possibly carrying a small green or brown handbag with long straps.

If you have any information on Rebecca's whereabouts contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 07:054

She has probably gone back to the area she moved from. Leaving her first love?
