DORCHESTER’S Dinosaur Museum is set to feature on prime time national television tomorrow.
Channel 5 reality TV programme The Removal Men will feature the team from Pickfords transporting Tricky, the life-size Triceratops model who sits outside the museum, to a nearby workshop for a makeover.
Curator at the Dinosaur Museum Tim Batty said: “The life-size reconstruction of a Triceratops, nicknamed Tricky, that stands in the museum’s yard needed to be taken away for a mega facelift.
“There was just one problem – how to move this cretaceous monster which is the size of a tank.
“Pickfords came to the rescue, and this was a first for them as they had never been asked to move a dinosaur before.”
You can catch the Removal Men episode featuring Tricky and the Dinosaur Museum at 8pm tomorrow on Channel 5.
