YELLOW Buses have really excelled themselves this time.
The eagerly awaited summer service for the C1 covering Alumhurst Road has just been announced and instead of improving, has revealed a dismal reduction in the timetable.
The first bus now leaves Alum Chine at 9.45am and the last bus is at 4.45pm.
This means that all the holidaymakers, elderly, those on limited income and the partially able are now consigned to staying in early mornings and from late afternoon.
There always appear to be numerous services between Bournemouth and Poole but none can be found to turn off into Alumhurst Road.
It is clear that the company now no longer considers it is providing a “public service” but is simply revenue gathering at the expense of the more vulnerable local residents.
This is a poor show.
