THERE are delays on trains between Weymouth and Bournemouth this morning due to a signalling problem.

There is a signalling problem between Hamworthy and Parkstone that means some service may delayed by up to 20 minutes or be revised to start or terminate in Bournemouth.

Disruption is expected until around 11am.

The fault is with equipment that allows signallers to see where trains are located on the network and as a result drivers would need to stop and get verbal permission to pass a number of signals in the area.

Response staff are aware of the fault and are investigating.

London Waterloo trains to Weymouth that departed at five past and 25 to are terminating at Bournemouth with Weymouth to Waterloo services that depart at three minutes past and 20 past are starting at Bournemouth.

London Waterloo to Poole services that depart at 39 minutes past will terminate at Bournemouth.
