COMEDY fans are in for a treat, as the Lighthouse Poole serves up double helpings of stand-up tomorrow and Thursday night.
The popular Comedy Works season ends with a bang tomorrow with four of the circuit’s best comedians.
Saturday’s line-up confirmed so far includes Christian Steel, James Alderson and Pierre Hollins, with one more name to be announced.
Christian Steel has gigged across the UK and Europe for years and is a Geordie with a naturally quick wit and a warm stage presence.
James Alderson has been described by many as an ‘everyman comedian’ – women laugh at his observations and self-deprecating style, and men laugh with him, feeling his frustrations and understanding his experiences.
Thursday sees a final chance to catch some of the best pre-Edinburgh Festival comedy at the Lighthouse with Before The Fringe that showcases the stand-up comedy talents of Luke Toulson and Vikki Stone.
