THE AWARD-WINNING Hofesh Shechter Company brings its latest contemporary dance show, In Good Company, to Pavilion Dance in the Lower Gardens on Thursday night. The dancers reveal their own creative voices with five short dance works choreographed and performed by a quintet of exceptional young artists.
With performance titles including No Way But Down and Luke Warm And Loving It, it can be hard to know just what to expect from In Good Company. Hofesh Schecter explains that it’s not just the quality but also the variety of performances that promise a great evening.
“I really believe in light bites, if you don’t enjoy one bit, you just move on. I think that’s really good for newcomers to contemporary dance, you won’t be stuck with one thing for long.”
