HAVING created some of the most memorable TV comedy characters of the 1980’s and 90’s, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse are coming to the BIC this October. The duo have been working together for 25 years and for the first time ever, they will all appear live in a UK tour that promises to revive and revitalise a quarter of a century of classic comedy characters.
The tour reaches the BIC on October 27 this year and tickets for this moment in comedy history will go on sale on Monday April 20 at 9am. Loadsamoney, the Old Gits, Smashie and Nicey, Kevin the Teenager, Julio Geordio, The Scousers, The Writer and the Landlady, The Surgeons, to name but a few… What's happened to Kevin? Has Loadsamoney still got the dosh?
Does Smashie still do a lot of good work for charity and love all the Lidl people? Does Nicey still have his knighthood?
Does Mr Cholmondley Warner think Women Know Their Limits? Have either of them said to the other "Now I'm considerably richer than you?"
Should Harry and Paul think again before embarking on this wonderful countrywide celebration of their legendary partnership? “Oi! Enfield! Whitehouse! No!”
Harry and Paul told the Daily Echo: "We've created characters together for over a quarter of a century and we're gagging to go on the road to showcase just about everything we've done for the first time live on stage. Why it's taken us so long neither of us knows, so we're hurriedly getting our act together before we bite the dust."
