LYCRA and muscle are set to collide at Bournemouth Pavilion when wrestling returns to the ballroom arena.

Former WWE grappler The Zulu Prince, right, and Indian ace Rishi Ghosh top the bill in a tag team showdown against Southern Area heavyweight champion Kris Kay and one of the biggest men in wrestling James Kenna.

The bout on Wednesday is the sequel to an incident-packed event in the last Bournemouth show when Kay and Kenna threw down the gauntlet to The Zulu Prince and challenged the African warrior to turn up with a partner of his choice to take them on in a no rounds, no time limit battle to the end.

The big summer spectacular also sees the return to the Pavilion of ladies wrestling, plus appearances by the controversial Polish Eagle Wolf Alexander and Bournemouth favourite and PWF title-holder Barry Cooper.

The petite Erin Angel, aka Little Miss Dynamite and a former young wrestler of the year, has a massive task when she takes on the giant Jamaican star Amazon when the girls get to grips in the other feature contest on the bill.

Alexander, one of the most colourful personalities in the grappling game, will no doubt treat ringsiders to a rendition of the Polish national anthem before his match with another big man, Iron Hulk Karl Atlas.

The action starts at 7.30pm, and tickets, including reserved ringside seats and discounts for advanced bookings, are available from the box office, telephone 0844 576 3000, or online via the BIC.co.uk
