DORSET animal lovers and foodies are being invited to visit Poole's first vegan fair this weekend.

Taking place on Sunday, November 12 at Lighthouse, Poole's Centre for the Arts from 10.30am to 4pm, the event will host around 70 stalls showcasing a huge range of vegan products including cakes, candles, pampering body products, stocking fillers, artisan chocolate, raw treats, hot food, clothing, cosmetics and unique jewellery.

Visitors will be able to sample tasters, collect recipes and talk to suppliers and hear presentations from local experts.

Exhibitors lined-up include Barbara’s Kitchen, Kate’s Dairy Free Cakes, Mr Lees Pure Foods, Mr Nice Pie, Oxfords Bakery, Meatfree Martha, Purple Nanny, Sukha Lounge, Dorset Wildlife Trust and Eden Perfumes.

Tasty treats on offer will include chocolate brownies, vegan cheese, non Scotch eggs, smoothies, chocolates, curries, salads, sushi and more.

The fair is open vegans and omnivores.
