A HUGE queue of hungry customers waited outside a Bournemouth restaurant to get their hands on a free burger.
Handmade Burger Co, which is the latest restaurant to open in the BH2 development, was giving away free burgers to the first 100 customers at midday on Tuesday, and again at 5pm. Ian Rathbone enjoyed his free beef burger so much at lunchtime that he popped by the restaurant again at dinner time to claim a free chicken burger.
“They’re really good burgers, the meat is good quality. I’ve been to the Handmade Burger Co in Southampton before, and my other half saw on the BH2 Facebook page about the free burger offer here.
“There was a massive queue at lunchtime,” he added.
The offer, which also ran yesterday, finishes today, with 100 burgers available from midday and another 100 available from 5pm. Diners can choose between the classic cheese burger, the classic chicken burger, or the Cajun vegetable and bean burger.
Bryan Taylor, BH2 manager, said he was “delighted” to welcome Handmade Burger Co to the complex.
