TRY these delicious recipes, courtesy of Jules Destrooper Almond Thins, as a new twist for your cheeseboard this Christmas.

Belgium Cream

200g Stilton or blue cheese

150g cream cheese

2 tsp chives

Salt and pepper to taste

Crumble up the stilton or blue cheese, discarding any rind. Place in a food processor with 150g cream cheese and blend until smooth.

Add the chives and seasoning if liked.

Chill and serve in a bowl.

Belgian Roll

150g cream cheese

50g dried apricots, finely chopped

25g Cheddar, grated

50g toasted, finely chopped almonds

Mix the cream cheese with the apricots, cheddar and 1 tbsp of the almonds. Place on a piece of cling film and roll up like a sausage.

Unwrap, roll in the remaining almonds then wrap in cling film and chill until required. Slice the roll and serve immediately on a cheeseboard with a wedge of brie and a bowl of chilli jam.
