Kanye West has had another stream of consciousness explosion on Twitter, but this one has taken a much more humble turn.

After admitting he was $53m in debt and asking Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to bail out his ideas with a $1bn investment, Kanye’s had some time to think – and he’s not happy with his formerly egotistical self.

The rapper had a moment of enlightenment as he dwelled on the idea of “taking the rap throne” and concluded, “My number one enemy has been my ego… there is only one thrown and that’s God’s.”

Here’s the Damascene moment as it happened.

Despite naming his album with Jay Z Watch The Throne, we can probably forgive Kanye’s minor spelling misgiving about what kind of “thrown” God owns.

But let’s be honest, it wasn’t all modest – he made sure to emphasise that he thought he was a pretty “wise man” too.

Kanye also let us in one of his “dream” collaborations, naming Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons and Austrian Helmut Lang, Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft and Martin Margiela, founder of fashion brand Maison Margiela.

That would be one cool high school, Kanye.
