Adele is reportedly set to release her new album in November.

The Skyfall singer has been working on the follow-up to her 2011 hit album, 21, for more than a year, but now Billboard has reported her label has set a date for release this autumn.

Adele teased in May 2014 that the title of her next album would be 25, after calling her debut record 19, and the follow-up 21.

On her birthday last year she tweeted: “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year,” prompting speculation the album could have been released last autumn.

But her label, XL Recordings, subsequently ruled out that date.

Adele took some time out after having her son Angelo two years ago, but has since been back in the studio, and is rumoured to have collaborated with Lady Gaga after the pair spent some time together.

Danger Mouse has been working on the album, along with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who produced and co-wrote Rumour Has It, and Max Martin is said to have contributed a single.

Adele’s record label boss said last autumn he was giving the singer as long as necessary to get it right.

XL Records boss Richard Russell said of the new album: “It takes the length of time that it takes to do and for it to be right.

“I’m really pleased with how it’s going. She’s always had a very high standard for what she does. She had that from day one, which is why the records have been so good.”
