American indie rock band The Killers rounded off their tour with a bitter sweet celebratory gig in Belfast.
Lead singer Brandon Flowers played all the old hits before a crowd of mainly 30-somethings at Tennents Vital.
He said: "It is sad but it is also a celebration tonight and we are glad to be here."
The group performed tracks from their album Direct Hits.
Numbers included Mr Brightside and Human.
Flowers had the clean cut American look with a touch of flamboyance added by a jacket which sparkled in the strobe lights.
Many in the crowd wore heavier duty outfits in anticipation of the late summer drizzle.
But spirits were high, with Human particularly well received. Nobody was interpreting lyrics recently voted the strangest ever.
But one of the most eagerly anticipated dates in Northern Ireland's musical calendar left fans very far from sad as they celebrated the last chance for a while to see a band who will surely be back.
