BRITISH Sea Power never disappoint.
Perhaps due to their own origins on the south coast the six piece indie band, currently touring with new album Sea of Brass, are regular visitors to the Bournemouth area and on Thursday they gave a well-appreciated rendition of songs old and new at the Old Fire Station.
Famous for their energetic live shows BSP seem to have reined in the antics a bit, although their crowd-pleasing bears made an appearance as the night went on.
Musically they put on a stirring, exhilarating performance that reminded me why they are among the best bands going at the moment.
