Walking into a show already described as “jaw-dropping”, and with an award from Edinburgh Fringe last year, I was expecting big things from tonight's performance and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

Barely Methodical Troupe comprises 3 very talented twenty somethings – Beren D'Amico, Charlie Wheeller and Louis Gift, who met at the National Centre for Circus Arts.

From backgrounds including parkour, breakdance and martial arts, their fusion into this fresh, funny and incredibly skillful performing act is nothing short of brilliant.

With impeccable timing and trust of each other as they perform breath-taking manoeuvres, flips and spins, along with emotional elements from comedic to heart-wrenching, Bromance is one of the freshest and most innovative things around.

Working through the theme of awkwardness between blokes, three's a crowd and other social difficulties we can all relate to, this show is something quite unique and an absolute must-see if you get a chance.

Southampton lad Charlie Wheeller astounded with his incredible Cyr skills (a huge gyroscopic wheel), Beren D'Amico's range of gymnastic abilities were unbelievable and Louis Gift's power in balancing and anchoring many of the tricks was superb. The three work seamlessly as a group but also equally shine as individuals.

Music choices, lighting and use of shadows was inspired, and for three young guys to cause so many gasps, cheers, and at the end a well deserved standing ovation, shows what a talented bunch the Barely Methodical Troupe really are.

Can't wait to see what they come up with next!
