Gillian Anderson is the latest famous face to take the driving seat in Top Gear’s star challenge.
The Fall actress took part in the BBC Two show’s Star In A Reasonably Priced Car challenge, where celebrities try to complete a lap of a race track as quickly as possible in a Vauxhall Astra.
Photos from Gillian’s attempt show her meeting The Stig, getting into the car wearing a helmet and taking it for a spin.
Viewers will have to wait until Sunday when the episode is aired to see if Gillian made it to the top of the leaderboard and she will also be interviewed on the show by host Jeremy Clarkson.
Other stars who have taken part in the challenge so far this series include Will Smith, Kiefer Sutherland and Ed Sheeran, who took the wheel without a licence and having never driven before.
Gillian can be seen in this Sunday’s episode which airs on BBC Two at 8pm.
