Twitter has been having a good laugh at Stacey Solomon after she appeared to be reading her lines form a clipboard as she performed in the Milton Keynes Theatre pantomime.
The mum-of-two, 27, arrived on stage for Dick Whittington on Thursday shortly after landing from the Australian jungle – where she’d been working on I’m A Celeb – and apparently needed a little help to make sure she kept to the correct script.
Some theatre-goers seemed pretty annoyed, some weren’t fussed at all, and some just couldn’t resist the easy joke opportunity…
Of course, some of the jokes were a little on the personal side…
According to the show’s producer she didn’t want to “disappoint her fans by not appearing in the show” and took the prompt with her “as a mark of respect to her fellow performers to ensure the show ran smoothly”.
Seems fair enough, but some Twitter users reckon learning her lines would have been the perfect way to pass the time on her long-haul flight…
Good point, Sian!
