After the resounding success of 2004's Breakaway album, Kelly Clarkson is back with her long awaited new album My December.
Although sporting a new sound, she is still just as popular with her fans, evident from hits like Breakaway and a breathtaking acoustic version of Because of You to which the crowd knew every word.
Despite her tiny stature and bare feet, this previous American Idol winner proved she has the talent to back it up with an incredible live singing voice.
Throughout her career she has remained down to earth, which was clear to see when she was talking to her fans and her gratitude towards her band, admitting to not always singing in time. She even sported some bunny ears, a gift from fans, to celebrate Easter.
Surprisingly, she didn't play her highly commercialised first single A Moment Like This, but instead played other favourites such as Never Again and new single Don't Waste Your Time, which has a more country style to it and draws more comparisons to Shania Twain, rather than previous rival Ashlee Simpson.
She also covered a song from the new album of her favourite singer/songwriter Patty Griffin. She provided a varied encore, with ballad Sober and equally popular Chivas to which she admitted to writing on a napkin in a bar.
The night ended on a high with undoubtedly her most successful hit Since U Been Gone to which the crowd went crazy.
