A BAND are gearing up for a 12-hour series of performances across Bournemouth, Poole and Boscombe.

Worry Dolls  are planning the feat tomorrow to mark the release of their debut album, The Man That Time Forgot.

Lead singer Emma Baldry said: “This is our hometown.

“No one has done anything like this in a long time and we wanted to do something amazing that will celebrate the release of our album, which we’re really proud of.”

The band, who have been together for two years, describe the album as “campfire rock with a dash of soul”.

They will be kicking their day off at the Arcade on Commercial Road, before heading off to ten other venues including The Inferno, Lush shop window, Boscombe town centre, Poole Quay, and Smoking Aces.

The day will finish with a slot at 9pm at the Cellar Bar in Boscombe, where the album launch party will be hosted.

The band will also be offering the chance for fans to win a free album. Emma, 23, said: “Throughout the day, we want people to tweet us photos of us performing. The two best photos will receive a signed limited edition of our album.”

The Man That Time Forgot is released on September 30 and can be purchased from iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
