Robbie Williams – Swings Both Ways (Deluxe Edition) Island
THE chart-topping album from the Take That singer features covers of well-known standards plus six new songs, and duets with Michael Buble, Lily Allen and Olly Murs. This deluxe edition contains a DVD, which includes performances of his songs with Buble, Allen, Murs and Wainwright. Williams fans will, obviously, be delighted.
This week Robbie held on to top spot in the album chart with Swings Both Ways. The Take That star’s record was neck-and-neck midweek with One Direction’s Midnight Memories and Gary Barlow’s Since I Saw You Last in a tight race.
But Williams beat off One Direction by fewer than 200 copies after both acts sold more than 126,000. The Robster also recently claimed the honour of the 1,000th album to top the UK charts with his latest LP, Swings Both Ways – his 11th number one as a solo artist, equalling Elvis Presley.
