MATT Bianco’s Mark Reilly and New Cool Collective celebrate the launch of their collaboration album The Things You Love with a new tour which includes a date in Poole.
The band first came to fame in the early 1980s with a 1984 album Whose Side Are You On? followed by a string of hit singles such as Get Out of Your Lazy Bed, Half a Minute and Sneaking Out the Back Door.
New Cool Collective, known as the pioneers of the Dutch jazz scene, have been together for 24 years, mastering an unmistakable mix of jazz, Latin and afrobeat.
There will also be support from Thokozile Collective - a Bournemouth-based world jazz quintet - with a burgeoning reputation who play vibrant, melodic world-influenced tunes with a distinct jazz twist.
Their debut album is scheduled for a June 2017 release, and a number of festival appearances have already been confirmed for the summer.
