AMERICAN rock stars, Blink 182, have announced that they will be bringing their UK arena tour to Bournemouth next year.

The punk pop group, who have sold over 50 million albums since they started performing 24 years ago, will blast through the speakers of the Windsor Hall in the Bournemouth International Centre on Monday, July 17, 2017.

Tickets are set to go on sale this Friday, November 11 at 9am and are expected to sell out fast as fans jump at the chance to hear tracks from the groups UK and US number one album, California.

Bored to Death, the first single released in April from the new album, has been streamed on Spotify over 36 million times and the video to the track has racked up almost nine million views. A video for the second single, She’s Out of Her Mind, has recently been unveiled.

Further proving that their vast popularity has been carried through over two decades, the band have also attracted over 10.5million fans on Facebook and 1.4million followers on Twitter who have been waiting for news on Blink 182’s next tour.

Having started their music in a San Diego garage, the men have grown to thrill audiences all over the world and have become one of the defining rock bands of their generation.

Now, with Matt Skiba of Akaline Trio fame, having joined Blink 182 as a singer and guitarist, the group have entered a new chapter.

Before coming to Bournemouth, the men are set to perform in Las Vegas and then Europe.

They will then head to the UK for various dates in July which will culminate in shows at the BIC followed by their final stop in Britain at The O2 in London.
