After a successful debut in 2015, the event returns with the sensational headline act Miss Annie and the Midnight Shift, who will be performing their 50’s style roots, rhythm and blues from 5.30-7pm.

Throughout the day there will be performances from talent female soloist Memphis Belle and bright, classy, toe tapping tunes from The Scarlets and crooner Real Vintage plus 1940’s songstresses The Land Girls complete with authentic costumes and choreography.

New to Poole Goes Vintage, magical duo the Aphrodites, 20’s inspired saxophones from the Forza Quartet and the chance to jive with rockabilly group The Ace Trio.

The Bournemouth based Forza Quartet formed in 2012, with the Forza Saxophone Quartet consisting of members James Rawlinson, Andrew Blee, Kyle Shenton and Tracy Payne. Forza specialises in vintage 1920s Jazz.

A big focus for the quartet has been image and authenticity as well as a high standard of music. They also play in authentic 1920s wardrobes.

There’s also the chance to get into the swing and learn to Lindy Hop with Jitterbug Jive’s fun demonstrations and have-a-go sessions.

Sue Murphy, Dutton Gregory Head of Business Development and Marketing, said: “Poole Goes Vintage was such a fantastic event last year and created a truly magical atmosphere. Everyone really embraced the vintage theme and the crowds loved the wonderful clothes, music and dance. This year looks even better and we are really excited to be supporting its return to Poole Quay with such a superb line-up.”

Anyone looking for their own piece of vintage can browse the vintage market or for a taste of the 1950’s visit Poole Museum’s 1950’s kitchen on the second floor between 12-4pm.
