FOLLOWING on from the success of his album Modern Life, Si Cranstoun is taking the show on the road throughout September and calling into Poole on Friday. He will perform at Mr Kyp's in Poole at 10pm after the England rugby match against Fiji.

Si has become firmly established as a favourite at Radio 2 with fantastic performances on shows such as Chris Evans' Breakfast Show, which led to Chris Evans personally asking Si to play at his CarFest Festival this summer. Si's track Caught In The Moonlight achieved regular BBC Radio 2 and Magic FM coverage and became one of 2014's most prolifically played radio songs.

Si's live reputation has been growing rapidly over the last few years which has led to successful shows and tours throughout Europe, the US and Australia. Cranstoun's vocal style has been compared to the likes of Jackie Wilson and Sam Cooke, while his music is a pure blend of northern soul, Motown and vintage pop. With hugely catchy hooks and a contemporary pop sound that also captures the look and feel of a golden era in soul. Chris Evans described him as “A squeeze of The Bee Gees, a bit of Billy Joel, a dash of Dean Freidman, and a ripple of Rodriguez.”
