WITH days to go until Fire Radio's Party in the Park 2015, event organisers have announced that headline act Huey Morgan of the Fun Lovin Criminals will now not be appearing due to personal reasons. Replacing Huey will be Fun Lovin Criminals band members Fast and Frank who will be performing a DJ set on Saturday.

Taking place across the weekend of August 29-30 on Ashley Cross Green will be transformed into a micro-festival with an outdoor open air stage for 10,000 festival goers gracing the green across two days.

Topping the bill on the Sunday night will be DJ Jazzy Jeff, who’s best known for his hits in the early 90’s with Will Smith as hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. As well as top international DJ's, this year's line-up also includes seven-piece reggae band, Dubheart and Boy Le Monti who will take to the stage to play old skool ska and rocksteady dance music.

DJ Martyn the Hat will be acting as compere throughout the day, introducing other top local acts like Drew Allen, Fearne, Ekko, The Royal T's and Soul Hole. The Lower Parkstone shindig has been bringing the local community together for the past 15 years - providing fun for all of the family. As well as music, it offers children's entertainment, face painting and a range of food from around the world.

Event organiser, Jane Jones said: “There has been a slight to change to Saturday's line up in that Fun Lovin' Criminal, Huey Morgan has had to pull his DJ set due to personal reasons and in his place we are over the moon to have secured Fun Lovin' Criminals Fast & Frank who are currently touring with UB40.”

Jane Jones Added: “We're thrilled with the response for ticket sales this year and anyone can buy them online right up until 10am each day for just £8.00 or £20.00 for PlayGolf Side Stage tickets to include a complimentary glass of Scavi & Ray Prosecco or Asahi beer. Tickets will also be available from the organiser's ticket office each day of the event for £10.00. This VIP area is favourable positioned next to the stage with comfy seating and a full private bar provided by Patrick's of Ashley Cross.”
