ONE of the biggest groups from the world of hip hop will be bringing some bling to Boscombe next month. The Wu-Tang Clan are set to play the O2 Academy Bournemouth on July 8, with tickets on sale now.
The gritty New Yorkers exploded onto the rap scene in 1993 with debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Success continued throughout the 90’s with a fashion label and offshoot albums from the many band members. Following the sell out of Wu-Tang Clans 20th anniversary tour, the band returns to the UK with their recent album, A Better Tomorrow.
The band features the talents of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. Support on the night comes from Southampton hip hoppers Route2roots and Bournemouth’s very own Cosm.
