Who do you want to see onstage at Grooves on the Green festival?

The second wave of acts have submitted their entries in our online talent competition The Calling and now it's up to you to decide who gets to play the second stage at this year's event.

Each month, we're inviting bands and musicians to submit their tracks to our online playlist which will then go to a public vote. A panel of judges will then pick two acts from the most popular musical talent.

There are 29 acts to choose from and you can listen to their songs and cast your vote below. You have until midnight on Wednesday to vote.

Who should play Grooves on the Green?

The monthly winners will win a place on The Calling Stage at the annual festival taking place July 11-12 where they will join Lee Rasdall-Dove and The Daisie Ukuladies on the bill, the first two acts to be picked by the public to play the event.

Former The Voice contestant Si Genero, who became an overnight internet sensation with his song Chicken Train, will be overseeing proceedings on The Calling stage.

Festival director Michael Callaghan said: "We've been overwhelmed by the response to the Calling contest, there are some great bands and singers out there so I know we can trust the Echo's readers to cast their votes so that we have the best line up of unsigned talent possible."

If you're a local musician, then you can submit your MP3 with a short bio and picture to us below.

All acts must include a name, location and contact email address and be available to perform at Grooves on the Green festival on either July 11 or 12. Prize does not include travel, accommodation and refreshments.

All usual terms and conditions apply and can be found at bournemouthecho.co.uk/terms.

The two-day, family-friendly gathering on Ashley Cross Green which is celebrating its 15th year, features music across two stages with other attractions including a food and drink festival, sports on the Green, alternative therapies and the popular Kidzone with lots of activities to keep the little ones happy. Plus, new for this year, there will be a real ale and cider bar next to the main stage.

Soul and funk collective the Baker Brothers will be headlining the Solid Air main stage on Saturday. The Dorset-based, five-piece enjoy a huge following in Japan and continental Europe.

On Sunday, multi instrumentalist singer songwriter Mutant Vinyl, whose sax playing grabbed the attention of Sir Paul McCartney, opens proceedings on the main stage in what will be his only local show of the year. He has opened shows for acts as diverse as Rudimental, Rita Ora, The Noisettes, Beverly Knight and Tricky, with whom he has also collaborated on a song.

Grooves on the Green runs from noon until 7pm each day and early bird tickets will go on sale next week from Le Bateau in Ashley Cross with £1 from every ticket sold going to Diverse Abilities Plus.
