GUITARIST Aynsley Lister first made a name for himself in the early 90s as a budding teenaged bluesman.

Since then he has gone on to sell more than 100,000 albums and was featured in Classic Rock’s Top 10 Blues Artists of the new Millennium. He has been gigging since the age of 13 and after signing to the influential blues label Ruf Records he earned high profile support slots with established artists like Walter Trout, John Mayall and Robert Cray.

Festival gigs alongside artists like the Fun Lovin’ Criminals took Lister’s contemporary interpretation of blues to a fresh audience and won high praise, drawing comparisons with Clapton at his best. He also has a reputation for delivering dynamic live shows packed with original songs and covers.

Aynsley Lister will be performing live at the Tivoli theatre in Wimborne on Saturday.
